Oilfield Engines on Display

Engines for pumping powers, drilling and other oilfield uses have inspired collectors to put on shows in vacant fields along the highways, exhibits at county fairs and at special grounds and buildings set aside for this purpose.  The owners have restored and polished their ancient engines to near perfection and take great pride in starting them up.  Societies have been formed by these avid collectors.
